Congratulations on your pregnancy, and decision to educate yourselves more on your choices in childbirth!

Birth is a wonderful time for families, but can also be overwhelming with the enormous amount of information to consider.

My birth philosophy, and goal, is very simple. I strive to provide current, honest, information and support necessary for parents to make informed decisions for themselves, throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth. Yes, I strongly believe in the natural process of birth, but also acknowledge that there are times when medical interventions are necessary for the wellbeing and health of the mother and baby. Though, the routine interventions that occur without any medical indication, so often these days, should be avoided.

I offer Bradley Method® Natural Childbirth Classes, Professional Labor Support (Doula Services) and Breastfeeding Support, to families throughout the Triangle area of North Carolina. I am an affiliated, certified Bradley Method® teacher (Since 1990), and a DONA® certified birth doula (Since 1995).
